- The average of books read person in Colombia increased from 1,82% in 2007 to 1,93% in 2008 (0,11).
- On average the people thaht know how to read rose from 3,56% in 2007 to 3,91 in 2008(0,35%).
- According to Cámara Colombiana del Libro, book sales represent 75% of the national production.
- According to Cámara Colombiana del Libro 57% of children between 5 and 11 years old read books last year.
- Chicó, has most of the part of the trade of Bogota. it also hold most of the important people houses and embassies.
- The economic statum of Chicó is 6.
- According to DANE the poverty line was 49,2%.

- At this year the mayor of Bogota implemented a change at the hour of "Pico y Placa" restriction are from 6:oo am to 8:00 pm (all day long). This change of the hours will affect the people that go to our bookstore, because they won't be able to use their car two days of the week.
